There’s little doubt left about how blockchain and cryptocurrencies have become more than just buzzwords in today’s business economy. Furthermore, what it started as the back-end technology for a brand new digital monetary system, has become a “tsunami” that is taking over everything it touches. Healthcare databases, next-gen transportation hubs or even a better and fairer distributed energy are just few of the examples where blockchain has left its mark.
Yet, it is in the financial industry where the blockchain – and all the cryptos born out of it – is leaving a more visible and immediate fingerprint. We are witnessing the dawn of a new market, made out of the digital and open 24/7. A new crypto-market that allows crowdfunding through the token economy, a form of exchange with currencies that only exist in the digital world and where the control of the financial flow goes all the way back to the users instead of big corporations and international institutions.
And yet, we are still at the beginning of all of it. So many questions, uncertainty and unanswered questions requires a deeper approach from someone who really knows what we’ve got into our hands. That’s why we have brought to tradersdna an interview to Tim Draper, venture capitalist and founder of Draper Industries and the Draper University of Heroes, made by our friends at BTC Wires.
Here is the whole conversation in one of the best insights about where are we now within the cryptocurrency context and where are we heading to in these exciting times:
Bitcoin was just the beginning of something much bigger and the outcome of all of this “crypto economy” it is as uncertain as the price of the said crypto coin. What is sure is, nonetheless, than bitcoin, ethereum and blockchain has come to stay. It is not just a bubble, as some say, but as Tim Draper commented, is very real game changer.
